Name meaning: Isle of Wight dragon
Vectidraco, a pterosaur discovered on the Isle of Wight, United Kingdom, gives us a glimpse into the ancient skies.
It lived during the Early Cretaceous period and had a wingspan estimated to be around .75 to 1 metre (approximately 3 feet).
While its diet is not fully known, it is though it may have been a fruit eater. .

Vesperopterylus
Name meaning: dusk wing
Vesperopterylus, a pterosaur similar to Jeholopterus was found in China in 2017. it lived during the early cretaceous period.
The size of Vesperopterylus was small and it likely had a wingspan of about 1 meters (3 feet).
like the rest of its family, the Anurognathidae it is thought to have eaten insects. ,
Vesperopterylus was well-equipped for aerial hunting. and reminds us of a prehistoric bat!

When Lived: Late Cretaceous
Wingspan: 3-4 feet
Discovered: 1971
Where: Russia
Diet: carnivore
Volgadraco
Name meaning: Volga River Dragon
Volgadraco, a pterosaur found in Russia’s Volga River region, lived during the Early Cretaceous period.
It is only known from some partial fossils of its beak / mouth a leg bone and neck bone ( vertebrae)
it is estimated to have had a wingspan of around a meter (3-4 feet) making it fairly small.
