Name meaning: Uktena finger

Uktenadactylus, a pterosaur discovered in both the UK and the United States, lived lived during the Early Cretaceous period and had a wingspan estimated to be around .4-5 metres.

it is thought to have been a piscivore / fish eater and used its teeth and beak to snatch fish from the water like others in its pterosaur family.

Where: Brazil

Diet: Carnivore

Unwindia

Name meaning: for Unwin

Unwindia, was a pterosaur found in Brazil in 2011 and had 7 pairs of teeth.

Unwindia was medium sized pterosaur / flying dinosaur and it likely had a wingspan of about 3 m (9.8 ft)

Brazil at the time was full of lagoons and wetlands and although we don’t know exactly what it ate, its teeth show it was a carnivores.

Utahdactylus, a pterosaur found in Utah in The USA in 2002. and is thought to be a member of the Ctenochasmatidae – which to you and I are the Filter feeding pterosaurs / Flying dinosaurs

it has had a convoluted history and was only ( at the moment) in 2007 that it was classified as a Pterosaur.

it is estimated to have had a wingspan of around 1.2 metres (3-4 feet) making it fairly small.
